Hi,
I am currently looking to build my first speakers and I have settled on a 2-way bi-amped design.
The bass/mid is a ScanSpeak 15W/8434G00
8ohm
Sensitivity (2.83V/1m) = 86.9 dB
The tweeter is a ScanSpeak D2604/833000
4ohm
Sensitivity (2.83V/1m) = 93 dB
I obviously am keen to not blow the speakers with too much gain! But then I dont want them to be so quiet they are useless.
I also am not sure how to compensate for the 2 different sensitivities of the drivers with the amping/gain. I am looking for as flat a response as possible.
Thanks!
Alexei
