Looking for pointers on first DIY preamp please.

Hello folks,

First of all, please excuse my lack of technical terminology when it comes to sound systems.

I have been working with small amps for neck-loop inductance systems and am willing to move on from that.

I would like to make my own preamp (I think that's what I want).

I have an LG LHS-D6430W 8 ohm impedance, 100W PMPO sub, and a few 30W kenwoods which I am unsure of the model right now. Also a pioneer which could be around the same as the kenwoods as they were all part of the same PC setup I had in my bedroom 15 years ago.

So: 1 sub, 2L, 2R speakers and a center speaker.

I would like to have 220v supply with all the outs and the bass/treble/l/r/c/vol controls all coming out of the sub (yeah, I want to put the whole wiring inside of the sub).

I plan on using that insulating material that I have left over from a wall we put up, glass wool or something like that.

I am not looking for anything top-notch, just something working reasonably well that I have made myself, wife and kids play mainly games, and watch a movie occasionally, sometimes listen to loud music but not often.

I have a huge heatsink from an old setup I attempted when I was a kid but I'm planning on buying a new one. I am aware that this sub isn't the best space wise to have all this fit inside and that some sound quality might get lost but I just really want to make something decent with what I have and be able to say 'I did that', someday I'll work on something more professional :)

I would really appreciate it if somebody more knowledgeable in this subject could point me out some nice schematics for the preamp and components list and possible recommendations. Not looking to spend much, just recycling what I already have.

Looking forward to any advice along the way.

:)
