Hello,
I´m trying to add to add to my stereo system a sub for music listening mainly, suitable for HT when required, in a 300~400W range. Here where I live I don´t have hi-end choices for diy, car audio only. I´ve seen many reviews about ready made subs but I´m not sure about about its performance for music. I hear music that covers a very wide range, but mostly rock and live performances, with this in mind I´m stuck between start a diy sub or get a manufactured ready-to-play sub.
I can get these subs for diy:
* Dayton Audio Rss265ho-4 10
* Jl Audio 10w0 V3-4
or those which I think can work fine
* Polk DSW PRO 660WI
* JBL ES150P or ES250P
I need some direction, I can go for a diy sub, with external amp but maybe ready made options outperforms over those car subs.
Regards.
