Im trying silmic 2 at the PSU cap as Im paralleling 100uf /35 v in series with another 100uf/35v so that i can use it till 70v now im using it at the psu caps right on the pins of the PSU bank not near the output transistor pins..
now I get blanded sound altogether im infact not impressed with what silmic does but many say they sound very good more like tube but Im unable to get the rich texture from these caps..
I have a question that is this the problem as its very far from the actual decoupling point? does that really improves my sound quality? im just looking a bit open in the mids and highs as the sound is getting quite muffled..
what is your input how do i solve this blanding sound its not much but its not acceptable either... do i need to change the caps position to pretty close to transistors pins?
