About to start my first major DIY amp project. I've done some chip amps, tripath, etc. and want to make a class A amplifier to match with my morel renaissance duets (which are absolutely fantastic, btw).
At first, I was looking at the f5, and then started thinking about F5T (but I don't have the skill to deal with troubleshooting advanced problems if there are issues with the prototype boards).
The Aleph J also came to mind.
My listening room is the living room, which is rather spacious, so it wouldn't be very low listening levels / near field.
Here are the specs:
Frequency Response 42 - 21,000 Hz ±3dB Impedance 6.5 Ohms
Power Handling 150 watts RMS Sensitivity 89 dB SPL
