When I joined this forum, I had started on my venture of selling Ultra Fi Amplifiers. But I always remember my roots as a DIY hobbiest in Electronics - while I was an engineering student in the 70's..
Here is my contribution to the DIY audio nut out there. A simple lateral MOSFET amplifier buffered by a BC337-40 transistor, with a TIP3055 active current source and a bootstrap capacitor.
I have used simple off the shelf components of 1% metal film resistors. The 100E should be 0.5W CF and the 0.47 5W WW
Enjoy building this one! The 20V supply is a switch mode computer supply and the heat sink is an AMD copper CPU cooler - or any similar CPU cooler.
