I've got a JL 500/1 Rev 11 I'm trying to repair without a schematic handy.
Two output mosfets blew, Q504 and Q505, as well as a few on the power supply, Q600 and Q606. It looks like all the gate resistors on the power supply side got a bit charred, so they will be replaced as well. SMD resistor R517 was also burnt up, and I can't read the number on top but read that it should be 10 ohms.
Now all the power supply and output FETs removed and a temporary 10 ohm resistor in place of R517, I was trying to power the amp up to check voltages and mosfet drive pulses. Upon initial 12V the amp pulls no power, but applying power to remote I notice something latches and R517 starts dropping quite a lot of current (1.5A+), eventually smoking. It doesn't matter if I disconnect remote, the amp still pulls current across this resistor.
Does anyone know what part of the circuit R517 is, or can confirm 10 ohms is correct for Rev 11?
