Damping Factor Question

I wish to use an amplifier that has a damping factor of 40. Could someone please advise how does one increase the internal damping of the loudspeaker in a dual voice coil speaker of 8 ohms each and in a single voice coil of 8 ohms.

Both drivers are going to be used in a big vent reflex system.
