Hi all,
I have recently been working on a little audio project for myself. I'm at a point where everything is working perfectly, expect the last phase of the audio output.
As my electronics knowledge is limited, and my audio knowlegde comparable to nothing, I'm hoping you could help me out. My amplifier, a Y148 from DX is producing noise (as I believe it's called).
To start off, this is the current setup:
To detail the problem a little bit more: when the amplifier has a volume of 0, the noise can be heard. When the volume is turned up, the noise becomes louder (but is harder to hear because the audio is coming through good).
The wiring from the table is exactly as described, there are no components inbetween (I assume I have to add a few, but don't know which and where).
Hope you can help me!

Code:
MP3 shield output | Y148 amplifier | Headphone | Power supply
R_out | R_in | |
L_out | L_in | |
GND | GND (audio) | |
| R+ | R_in & L_in |
| R- | GND |
| V+ | | ~9 volts
| GND | | GND
