Can I add a Potentiometer to these Headphones?

So I had this headphone for a while and I'm really missing the volume control potentiometer I have grown so use to at work. These are for home and I don't really sit in front of the stereo and computer with them on, therefore a volume controller is much called for.

I was wondering If I could install something to control the volume without disrupting, causing and extra impedence or interference in the signal or lowering my headphone's sound quality.

I don't know if I would need to build a lite housing to mount a beefy potentiometer or if I could simply hack one of the headphones at work and transplant their inline volume controlling potentiometer + housing on my headphone cable.

here are the specifications of my headphone monitors:

• Frequency Response: 15Hz-25kHz
• Sensitivity: 92dB±3dB
• Driver Diameter: Ø53mm
• Max.Input Power: 500mW
• Rated Power: 250mW
• Impedance: 60Ω

in any case, I need some help with this diy, last thing I want is to ruin the sound quality of my headphone.
