I have an implementation question.
Tube rectified PS for 300b amp. CLC with 274b->4u->10H->110u-> 120hz hum (almost 1/2 V ripple). So I want to add an RC filter. I can add it after the LC and reduce the output voltage 10-20V depending on R and reduce ripple to <0.05 V. O, according to PSUD2, I add it before the LC. This actually results in more available voltage, presumably due to increased capacitance before the L, and reduces ripple even more. But I am afraid that might be a problem with my chosen rectifier, which requires C1 no greater than 4u. I wouldn't mind more voltage, but also would be fine with less. I am running 360V right now, so either direction is manageable.
Thanks for advice!
