I know I have some educating to do, as his request is for an outdoor sub for movie special effects that won't bother the neighbors in a small portable box. That part I can deal with.
I have not been tracking subs much as all four of mine are doing just fine. My inclination is to show him what a 6 cu ft box looks like for something like the Dayton RS 15. In the 12's, last I checked, Peerless, Dayton, TC, CSS were the contenders for reasonable quality and affordable. Still a fair list?
O-Audio seems to be gone, so what is the poop on generic plate amps now?
